Unlike previous Enterprises introduced through TV or film, the Enterprise-F made its debut in the video game Star Trek Online as the flagship of the 2400s. Its inclusion in Picard Season 3 officially brings it into main canon.
The Odyssey-class is a conceptual extension of the Constitution-class lineage—a large, multirole cruiser. Due to its immense size and firepower, it is classified as a dreadnought.
In peacetime, it serves as a long-range exploration vessel. In wartime, it leads large fleet formations but remains fully capable of solo missions.
