(KUTV) A Corner Canyon High School senior is not letting Down syndrome stand in the way of accomplishing some amazing dreams.

Emily Arthur, 18, is preparing for one of the most challenging, yet prestigious, opportunities of her life.

She is speaking to thousands of people at her high school graduation.

"I am not scared because I have confidence in myself," Arthur said.

Arthur is one of 2,100 students at Corner Canyon High School in Draper.

She was one of three students chosen to speak at graduation after an audition process.
