The Splatoon 3 triple splashdown is a special that is a revamp of the splashdown from Splatoon 2. As the name implies, in Splatoon 3, three splashdowns occur: 1 is directly from the player and 2 are from conjured fists just beside the player. This new feature made it so that, even if you get splashdown canceled by an enemy player, the remaining 2 splashdowns still had a chance of trading with that player or taking the objective. This was a much needed change that makes splashdown a lot more useful in games...even if it can become a panic button. Right now there's just the custom blaster and emperry splat dualies that have this special but there's still many more to come. What main or special weapon would you like me to cover next?
