Recently it feels like Splatoon 3 is in a weird spot. While a good chunk of the player base is chugging on with business as usual, there are some people who end up falling out of the game and not having new people trickling in to take their place. But Side Order is in the position to reverse that flow and possibly put many more eyes on Splatoon 3 like the Octo Expansion did with Splatoon 2 back in 2018.
