In an area of Illinois called Little Egypt, you’ll find one of America’s most notorious ghost towns - Cairo. But what about the neighboring towns? On our way to Cairo we checked out the nearby cities and towns, and each had a completely different vibe. From the hometown of Superman, to the abandoned village of Future City, this area has been overlooked by the state’s largest city, Chicago.
