I opened an LM248 quad op-amp. It is a quad 741 op-amp and we can even see a reference to this on the silicon die as "741 4X". The board is very symmetrical.

The disassembly was really simple, I just heated up the packaging, then snipped the centre of it with a side cutter. Then I just removed the legs from the packaging and all looked great.

Unfortunately, I could not use the 40x lens because it has too small working distance and I could not fit the lens close enough to the silicon die.
