June 18, 2026. A day New York Knicks fans waited more than 50 years to experience.
Join me for a full POV 4K journey inside the New York Knicks Championship Parade as New York City celebrates its first NBA Championship since 1973. This video captures the entire day from the perspective of a fan on the ground, from before sunrise until the final ride home.
The day begins at 5:49 AM as we board a packed subway filled with Knicks fans wearing blue and orange across New York City. By 6:00 AM, thousands of people have already gathered along the Canyon of Heroes, hoping to secure a spot for the historic ticker-tape parade. We hear rumors that only 150 people will be allowed into our viewing area and that everyone else will be turned away. Somehow, we make it inside with nearly three hours to spare before the parade begins.
With time to explore, we take in the atmosphere as Lower Manhattan transforms into a sea of Knicks jerseys, championship gear, handmade signs, and excited fans who have waited decades for this moment. We even find a vendor selling blue-and-orange New York Knicks bagels as confetti begins drifting through the air and anticipation continues to build.
Then it finally begins.
Fans erupt as parade floats roll down Broadway carrying members of the New York Knicks organization, current players, Knicks legends, and special guests.
