As the team behind AFTRS Master of Arts Screen capstone film MUMLIFE prepare to present their pop musical to the world at Festival de Cannes, they took a moment to give us a behind-the-scenes view of how they got here. Director Ruby Challenger, producer Claudia Shepherd, writer Gerard Dewhurst, composer Sophia Christopher, cinematographer Benjamin Bellette and production designer Emily Jansz reflect on their magical collaboration.

MUMLIFE is a capstone project of the Master of Arts Screen program at the Australian Film Television and Radio School (AFTRS). It will have its world premiere in competition in the La Cinef program at the Festival de Cannes in May 2022 and will be followed with a screening at Sydney Film Festival in June 2022.
