Insecticide is a story driven, action, adventure video game. Developed by Crackpot Entertainment and published by Gamecock Media Group in 2008. The game takes place in a world where the insects are the dominant life form on earth, while humans have degenerated into hominids. With such a big leap in evolution, insects also need a police force. This is where our main protagonists come into place. Two police officers from the insecticide (homicide) division, trying to solve a murder case involving the Nectorola soft drink company.
NoirStation Rating: - 4 Out Of 5 - Insecticide is an undeservingly underrated title that should be known by a much bigger audience. It has that LucasArts vibe, with a colourful and rich world that feels very alive. Only if you could explore outside the invisible video game borders. The gameplay sections are designed in a very smart way as well. Where you will be going between action and explorative, detective-like sections. Figuring out puzzles and investigating your surroundings. This way the game keeps it fresh every time, without getting monotonous, the key word here for me is - pacing. This is an excellent title, for which you should keep your eyes on.
