Blight Of Ignorance is a first person, adventure, walking simulator video game. Which was made exclusively for the game developer contest named - Noir November Jam 2021. Developed and published by Niven Hedinger. Player takes the role of a self pitying detective named Derek Dagger. Who is going through a rough patch, after a recent accident involving a woman named Madeline.
NoirStation Rating: - 2 Out Of 5 - Game was made in just five days, so probably I shouldn’t set my expectations very high. However, I have played indie titles that were made in a much shorter time frame and far out exceeded my expectations. From this point of reference, this is a very shallow attempt. Blight Of Ignorance has noir elements, clever references, but those are the only good things I could say right now. The rest of the game is a messy, audio and graphical clutter combination with a weak gameplay.
This video is recorded, played in my style, and edited by me. Longplay is made as fluid as possible without any deaths, unnecessary menus, loading screens, stumbling around or other non-essential things to a walkthrough. So that the video can be used as an easy to follow guide for educational, preservational or entertainment purposes. Review and description is written by me as well. All gaming videos on my channel are my original content which I create myself.
