This day hike in Japan's central alps has been one of our favourite so far! Getting off the Komagatake Ropeway at 2600m, you're immediately greeted by Senjojiki Cirque, a beautiful mountainous area. From there, you can either do a 45 minute, easy walk around the area or, like us, hike the 4 hour round-trip to Mt. Kiso-Komagatake.
