In regions like the Yukon, where sunlight is scarce, traditional practices and daily tasks become complicated.

But Carleton grad Sofia Parra’s creative invention, Hesper, powered by body heat, is helping light up the darkness. 💡

Designed in collaboration with the Na-Cho Nyäk Dun Indigenous community, the coat blends tradition and tech, bridging generations together and empowering local women to get involved. 🧵🪡
