Chris Saenz | Ink Storage Solution - Spice Racks @ChrisSaenz13 | Uploaded January 2022 | Updated October 2024, 4 hours ago.
In this video I show you my spice racks from Amazon, which I'm using to store many of my fountain pen inks -- I got this idea from sarakatiee in October 2021 from this video where she talked about organizing her ink collection:

This is such a great idea it literally is the best thing to happen to my ink world since Sue V sent me an MTM shell box for ink sample storage and I started using those for my samples!!!!!
Here's a link to the shell boxes:

So, while showing you my spice racks I also showed my shelf from Hobby Lobby and my ink sample and other ink storage in my office. I've recently begun seeing the value in grouping inks by manufacturer which is something I never used to do. I still group MOST of my samples by color but I did separate out my Pilot Iroshizuku samples and my Diamine Inkvent ones.
It feels good to have the storage working really well for the new year. I'm so glad I remembered to order the Spice Racks ... they had been on my Amazon wish list since October.
Here's a link to the ones I bought (for some reason it is listing these as used and I can't find the NEW listing .... but this is the exact item I purchased - color is Bronze):
amazon.com/dp/B08BCD2RV4?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2_dt_b_product_details#HLCXComparisonWidget_feature_div
The 2 shelves each have 3 shelves for a total of 6 -- and they measure 15.5x3 and 3/4 inches. Clearance depth wise is: 4 and 3/4 but you have to take into account the front 1.5" lip which keeps things from falling off and you'll need to put bottles in at an angle.
Thank you for watching and if you have any questions -- please let me know + I will try to help answer them.
