This is the progress report for July 2023 -- how it went so far with these 8 pens and inks:
1. El Grande (modified) M Nib from Pen Realm Kirk Speer. Pen from pen friend @mykeschn ink is Monteverde Gratitude Magenta sample from pen friend K.S.
2. TWSBI Eco Clear EF pen from pen friend M.S. ink is DeAtramentis Alexander Hamilton bottle from pen friend L.E.
3. Majohn C3 EF Blue pen from pen friend M.S. ink is Dimaine Oxford Blue.
4. Pilot 78g EF Black from pen friend MMD ink is Cross Black
5. Kaweco Sport Mellow Blue BB pen in memory of Willy (kitty) from pen friend BBR ink is Diamine Moon Dust
6. Opus 88 Mini Checked B Birmingham Allegheny River Twilight (samples from 3 pen friends of the old formula of this wonderful ink!)
7. Lamy Safari White/Red B ink is Pilot Iroshizuku Momiji
8. The Fan in River City BSIG nib Herbert Pen Co/Goulet exc. pen from pen friend C.K. ink is Noodler's Eel Turquoise sample from pen friend A.Y.
Mentioned my Purple Transparent TWSBI Eco ... I had a great experience with their customer service and for $5 a new barrel is now on the way for this pen which had a micro crack in the section and it was making my fingers very inky. They were great to work with and I'll update you after I receive and repair the pen!!!!
Pen tray is a modified shallow cigar box I took apart and using trays from Penn State Industries I made 2 trays one for my letter writing desk and one for my pen desk.
The writing is going very well this month! Every pen is writing well and the colors are very pleasing!
I've been working very hard with organizing things in the house since it has been extremely hot outside! Prior to 2020 I had been making great progress with downsizing and now I once again feel on track with that! It was great to see that I could find and meet the ends! So to speak. I am now feeling caught up and have made progress beyond where I was pre-pandemic. Yeah me!
Unfortunately I forgot to go over the grades so I am going to post the grading page on the community tab and over on Instagram.
