The LED is not an indicator light! It's actually a flashlight! I don't know why something simple as that makes me giddy, but I think it's awesome because I can see myself needing this in a pinch to find cables or look in my bag or something or if I'm outdoors at night. Just double tap the power button to activate and deactivate!
