"Thanks for sharing your test results! Regarding the faster battery drain when charging the DJI Mini 4 Pro (7.32V), it’s likely due to voltage conversion losses. Here’s a simple calculation to estimate how many charges the DJI Mini 4 Pro batteries would get from our INIU Cougar P63 power bank:
Power bank energy (Wh) * 0.8 / (device capacity (mAh) * voltage / 1000) ≈ Charging time
91.25 Wh * 0.8 / (2,590 mAh * 7.2V / 1000) ≈ 4 times
Since the DJI Mini 4 Pro operates at 7.32V, the power bank likely steps down from 9V or 12V, causing efficiency losses during the conversion. This results in a lower-than-expected effective capacity, which is common when charging devices with non-matching voltage requirements. This is generally the case for most power banks.
I hope this clarifies things! Even though there’s some energy loss during charging, I still believe it could be a great backup option for charging multiple devices, especially during travel. I also appreciate your positive feedback about the INIU Cougar P63 in your review."
