Alan Wake 2 takes place 13 years after bestselling writer Alan Wake went missing. Now a string of ritualistic murders occur in the town of Bright Falls, Washington. Saga Anderson, an FBI agent, is sent to Bright Falls to investigate the killings, where she finds herself tangled in a supernatural horror story written by Wake, in order to escape from his captivity.
In this episode we leave Alan in Casey's capable hands while we explore the no longer flooded forests of Bright Falls. We head back to our car, and head to Bright Falls with Alan. This starts our playthrough as Alan, attempting to escape a talk show studio, which seems to be part of the world where he is trapped - The Dark Place. We end up finding the Angel Lamp and escaping the Talk Show Studio.
