Spider-Man 2 is set 10 months after Spider-Man: Miles Morales (hard to believe it's been nearly 3 years since that piece of gold).
In the first episode, we find that Peter has started his first day at Miles' school as a teacher. They are immediately interrupted by an attack on the city by Flint Marko (Sandman). The episode ends with Peter being fired for abandoning his class to deal with Sandman.
