Integrity. What is it? The online Cambridge Dictionary defines “integrity” as “the quality of being honest, and having strong moral principles, that you refuse to change…” The United Nations has issued an Information Integrity framework, and has appointed a Senior Advisor on Information Integrity named Charlotte Scaddan. So how does the UN’s Senior Advisor on Information Integrity see integrity on Climate Change and Energy? She sees it as 'consensus'. This video summarized a teleconference exchange between Ms. Scaddan and Australian Senator Malcolm Roberts in which she refers to the 'consensus' as being 99 out of 100 scientists agreeing on the evidence. But science is not a democracy, science is about evidence. Ironically, Ms. Scaddan told Senator Roberts that he would have to ask the scientists about what the 'consensus' evidence was as she has never studied science. Friends of Science Society wrote a report in 2014 that looked at some of the best known and most cited 97% consensus studies and found that when you look at the actual data in those studies, there's not a 97% consensus at all. They're fooling you. Here's a link to that study: friendsofscience.org/library/library-climate-science/97-consensus-no!-global-warming-math-myths-and-social-proofs.html Join us! Donate!
