Pets with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) often experience recurrent issues such as vomiting and diarrhea due to chronic inflammation of the digestive tract. To make matters more difficult, the underlying cause of IBD is unknown. In this webinar, Dr. Douglas Palma, Specialist in Internal Medicine and Department Head of Internal Medicine at the Schwarzman Animal Medical Center in NYC, discusses the diagnosis and treatment of inflammatory bowel disease in dogs and cats. While finding the best course of treatment may involve some trial and error, most pets can have a good quality of life once the disease is managed properly.
