Dr. Alexandra Kravitz, a third-year resident in Integrative & Rehabilitative Medicine at AMC, studied dogs with osteoarthritis to see how their pain scores changed after receiving a multimodal pain management plan. At their their recheck evaluation, all dogs in the study showed improvement, whether they participated in formal rehabilitation or followed an outpatient exercise plan.
