This Infinity TSS 450 Subwoofer is from 2006 and features multiple input connections with automatic on/off sensing. Although it does not boom as much as my even older Cambridge Soundworks PSW1, the small form factor makes it ideal for our living room. Last week, it stopped producing a bass signal, instead just emitting static and crackling noises. Fortunately for me, the solution was as close as a Google search! Usually when an electronic product goes bad you have replace a part, but in this case I just took it out, much like an appendix or gall bladder...
