I did some additional testing and here's what I found.
WITH the Last Wish armor: It takes about 7-8 red bar kills to get a heavy brick
WITHOUT the Last Wish armor: It takes 25 red bar kills to get a heavy brick
So it generates heavy ammo over 3 times faster.
You can get infinite heavy ammo. The last wish armor gives you damage resistance with grenade kills and additional heavy ammo progress from grenade kills. Arc Soul, Hellion, Bleak Watcher, and all the other elemental buddies are considered grenades now, meaning all of their kills will also activate these armor bonuses. So just throw on Getaway Artist for an enhanced arc soul, devour to get 100% uptime on your grenade, and either hellion or bleak watcher for another turret, and between all their kills, you’ll be spawning heavy bricks like crazy. I got 4 bricks during this one 30 second clip.
