Industrial - Burning Ship Fractal Zoom @MathsTown

I have attempted to go for a more industrial feel with this one. There is some great abstract shapes in the Burning Ship fractal, particularly as you get a little deeper. I quite like the sequence of concentric squares that we enter at about 10:21.

The formula for the Burning Ship fractal is z=(|Re(z)|+|Im(z)|)² + c (then flipped vertically so it looks like a ship).

$Merry Christmas 2019 - A Mandelbrot Fractal Zoom Wishing all the people of Maths Town a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. You have all made this a wonderful little part of the Internet, and your constant support is most appreciated! For this years Christmas video I was inspired by Candy Canes. The tube colouring has been by far the biggest hit of the year on this channel, so I thought it was appropriate to finish of the year with this design. The year started out a bit grim, after getting dropped by YT, but the many Patreons who opt to buy me a coffee each month kept the channel running.
