Indigenous leaders, alongside P.E.I. Premier Rob Lantz, address the media on the first day of a meeting of the Council of the Federation in Charlottetown.

Speaking are Tabatha Bernard (chief, Lennox Island First Nation), Roderick “Junior” Gould (chief, Abegweit First Nation), Cindy Woodhouse Nepinak (national chief, AFN), Victoria Pruden (president, Métis National Council) and Josie Nepinak (president, Native Women's Association of Canada).

They face questions on the latest U.S. tariff threat, interprovincial trade barriers and Alberta separatism.
