IndianRaga Fellows Speak is a series in which our Fellows share their journey with us and how it has helped them in their personal and professional endeavors as artists. We are resuming this series with Sahiti Rachakonda, who is our first fellow to have been part of both the Individual and the Group Raga Fellowships for dance.
From creating an educational piece comparing Kuchipudi to Bharatanatyam, to choreographing in IndianRaga's first ever Group Fellowship, Sahiti Rachakonda has been an enthusiastic participant in IndianRaga's dance endeavors. Our productions also include a wide range of instruments including mridangam, tabla, sitar, violin, flute/bansuri, veena, ghatam, and new-age categories like music arrangement and production with EDM, Trap, Pop amongst others. Our most popular innovations include classical cover songs, a cappella, mashups and remixes of the latest viral pop hits in both western and Indian music.
