On 12 July 2025, we held our Inverness Heat at the Bike Shed! Kevin Mclean hosted the event and our Sacrificial Poet was last year's Inverness runner-up India de Bono.
A passionate plea from our incredible Sacrificial Poet, India De Bono.
Indie de Bono is an award winning queer, disabled, creative who finds inspiration everywhere they look, from friendship to the back of the fridge. Their work ranges from absurdism to romance, always containing their signature “radical compassion”. Indie has been performing for over 21 years, since childhood in London, and found their spotlight on the poetic stage in university, and have since settled in Scotland. Most recently they debuted their first play 'Storm In A Teacup' at Tired Horses' Agora Scratch Night and are excited to release their premier solo poetry show at the PBH Free Fringe 2025 'India de Bono presents: For The Children Of Circumstance'.
