On Saturday, June 13, 2026, the Loud Poets Slam Series returned to Dumfries in partnership with Arts D&G.
The Loud Poets Slam Series is a nation-wide tournament across Scotland, England, and Northern Ireland culminating in a Grand Slam Final with a £3,000 prize! Sign up for our Regional Heats, book tickets, and learn more here: iamloud.co/slam
Our Dumfries Heat took place at The Stove Network. Kevin Mclean hosted the event and our Sacrificial Poet was 2025 Dumfries Slam Champion, Culain Wood. Our judges were Culain Wood, Melissa Rutnagur, and Mark Gallie.
