This took me a long time. This is a music video for an original song by me called "Independence Fades".

The way it feels is like a spinning blade,

But I don’t anymore,
The way it always seems to go,
Life’s lost it’s lustre now,
You don’t seem to know,
And as the time just passes slow,
It’s a waste,

Feeling all alone,
Trying to keep my thoughts at bay,
From the start,
Playing with my heart,
Through you don’t care anyway,
To and fro,
Nowhere left to go,
Just a place where I can stay,

The strong compassion for another soul,
Is just a way to feel I have some control,

It’s just a silly game,

Sitting down,
Looking all around,
With a sense that’s like dismay,

Staring at my phone,
But the screen is dark and grey,
Hoping too,
What I’m going through,
Is of worth enough to say,
