This simulation shows a spatially- and temporally incoherent wave emitter that consists of around 100 individual wave sources. The sources are continuous but all have a slightly different emission wavelength. This results is the emission field and intensity distributions shown in the video.
The simulation was made using a python script supplied by @DiffractionLimited
