Sir Keir Starmer has delivered a statement in the House of Commons on the Oct 7 anniversary and the situation in the Middle East.

He was followed by David Lammy, who then made a statement on the Government’s decision to hand over the Chagos Islands to Mauritius.

The Foreign Secretary faced questions from MPs angry about the decision and was grilled about what it could mean for other overseas territories after No 10 ruled out talks on the future of the Falkland Islands and Gibraltar.
