Literacy opens doors to opportunity and ignites a passion for life-long learning. The Selective Integrated Reading Activity (SIRA) in Mali has served more than 780,000 children and their communities, allowing young students to improve their reading and literacy skills. With ongoing support from USAID and EDC, the project continues to provide students, teachers, and local governments with materials and strategies that lead to better reading outcomes.
