I went into this recording quite optimistic about the recent tab. We had gone several videos in a row without an incident. And for the most part, the video went very well. But to my utter dismay, I did encounter a NSFW level on the Geometry Dash servers along my journey. Thankfully the level has been removed form the servers but I did keep a censored version of it in my video to help shed light on the issue. Robtop develops better censorship for this kind of thing. Normally I wouldn't care so much but there is an ocean of innocent children playing the game who don't need to see that.
But besides that one exception, the rest of the levels were fine. A pretty standard mix of Extreme Demon gameplay, wave spam, random nonsense, and so on.

I first heard this song a year or two ago and was instantly captivated its build up and intense energy. Ive been a fan of Sleep Token in general for a couple years, but Ive never felt capable of capturing any of his songs with sufficient representation until The Apparition.
Dont expect my future layouts to match this level of theatrics with the triggers and particle effects and all. That was a huge hassle to get just right and I do not want to do that again unless I really feel like its representatively necessary if that makes sense.
Ive been wanting to branch out from whats understood to be my gameplay style. This level and its song was the perfect opportunity to try something new and not rely on duals so much. I believe the duals make up less than 20% of this level which may be my lowest in years.
This level being as long and hard as it is will certainly put this out of reach for the vast majority of my community. But regardless, I hope you all enjoyed watching the finished product at the very least.
