The GTI-R was a homologation special based on the fourth-generation (N14) Pulsar (sold in Europe as the Sunny) to meet World Rally Championship (WRC) Group A regulations. It is powered by a turbocharged 2.0-liter SR20DET four-cylinder engine and utilizes Nissan’s ATTESA (Advanced Total Traction Engineering System for All-Terrain) all-wheel drive system. This Japanese-market example, finished in Bluish Grey (TJ1), is one of 45 finished in this color. It was imported to the U.S. by Japanese Classics and has been modified with Rays Volk Racing AV wheels, an HKS front mount intercooler, and a custom exhaust system.
