In this video I talk to economist Logan Kelly about how we implement monetary policy. Dr. Kelly is a tenured full professor of Economics at University of Wisconsin–River Falls. He earned his Ph.D. in macroeconomics from the University of Kansas. He began at Bryant University in 2007, researching monetary economics and index number theory. In 2010, he joined UW–River Falls as Director of the Center for Economic Research and assistant professor, earned tenure in 2014; was promoted to full professor in 2019. He chaired the Department of Economics from 2017 and spearheaded development of multiple graduate programs. Dr. Kelly’s work appears in leading journals. He served as a visiting scholar in UK, Germany and China.
