Many women with low or changing hormones describe feeling as though their brain simply isn’t working properly. They know something has changed, but they can’t quite explain it.

In this clip, I share the analogy I often use with my patients. It’s like needing reading glasses. You know the words are there, but they’re blurred. Then you put your glasses on and everything comes back into focus.

For many women, fluctuating hormones can have a many negative effects on the brain, yet these symptoms are often dismissed as stress, ageing or simply being busy when actually the right dose and type of hormone treatments can really help.
