In a webinar on Thursday, July 16, Dr. Len Messner, Vice President for Strategy and Institutional Advancement at the Illinois College of Optometry, presented on the impact of concussion on the vision system. Concussion can cause several vision-related symptoms, including sensitivity to light or motion, difficulty with eye movements, eye pain and headaches, dizziness and balance problems, and blurry or double vision. In this webinar, Dr. Messner shares how brain injuries can disrupt the visual system and answered questions about vision symptoms following concussion.
