Version 9 of iMovie (MacOS). From what I've heard, this version of iMovie worked fine up to Yosemite (MacOS X 10.10), but starting from El Capitan, some problems with the program emerged. The only one I had was the media in the preview window appearing lighter (more washed-out) compared to when you viewed the media in any other application. The lighter (more washed-out) look also carried over to exported videos.
So, I attempted to get a virtual machine of an older version of MacOS working. After three failed attempts, I decided I'll try again when I have more time, so for now, I'm just gonna use the work-around of lowering the brightness. This can make the colour of the media appear a bit off, but it probably adds to the irony (I don't see myself using iMovie '11 outside of making ironic YTPs).
Using this version should hopefully increase the accuracy of my 333ajc-esque ironic YTPs.
