Donna | ImJayStation Quits Being Straight | How To Use Anger to Gain An Audience @DonnaIRL | Uploaded February 2019 | Updated October 2024, 6 days ago.
It seems like someone’s career ends every week, but what if I told you controversy actually benefits some people? See back when I was a much smaller channel, I use to think drama/commentary channels were in cahoots with “how do I say this nicely” cringey channels. Because while they were criticizing these channels for having such bad content, nothing would essentially happen. While the drama was happening, both channels would grow. Let’s take Jake Paul for example. The internet roasted him for his song “It’s Everyday Bro”. Judging from the dislikes, you’d think Jake Paul’s career would be done for. But you actually see an upward trend. Channels who criticized him are seen with that same trend. Now, we see a number of creators trying to do the same thing, using anger to gain an audience. One person attempting to do that now is a creator called ImJayStation.
