Following in the footsteps of Tinariwen, Imarhan bridges the gap between ancient desert culture and contemporary life. In this exclusive session, recorded in 2026 for the Dutch TV show 2 Meter Sessies, the band performs tracks from their latest repertoire, including songs reflecting on their home studio 'Aboogi' and their album 'Aboogi' (Essam).

2 Meter Sessions is an independent music platform based in the Netherlands, dedicated to recording high-quality live music sessions with emerging and established artists from around the world.

Each month, we film 3 to 4 exclusive studio sessions, focusing on authentic, intimate performances.

Founded in 1987 by radio presenter Jan Douwe Kroeske, the show began on national radio before expanding to television in 1993, where it became a widely recognized platform for live music performances.
