The Prodigal Sons, led by singer and guitarist Erwin Nyhoff, were one of the most notable Dutch rock bands of the early 1990s. Known for their energetic blend of rock, blues and roots influences, the band gained national recognition with their song “You Still Think”.
For this 2 Meter Sessies recording, The Prodigal Sons performed three songs in the studio: the band’s own work “You Still Think” and “Jimi”, alongside their version of “Polk Salad Annie”.

Founded in 1987 by radio presenter Jan Douwe Kroeske, the show began on national radio before expanding to television in 1993, where it became a widely recognized platform for live music performances.
