Today I’m leaving the motorhome behind at @oaktree-motorhomes and heading to heathrow airport as i'm heading to asia for two months. Bit weird walking away from the Land Yacht if I’m honest, but it’s getting serviced, MOT'ed, worked on, and even a bit of a makeover while I’m gone.
I’ve packed everything down properly, emptied it all out, and even set up my dodgy Mars bar rodent test so I can keep an eye on things while i'm away.
The trip starts at Heathrow, bit of a scare with the boarding pass missing a letter from my name, but got through fine using the app. Travel down was easy, train, tube, done. Found a random Louis Vuitton café in the airport, tried to film it, got told off straight away, not my kind of place anyway!
Long 12-hour flight later and I’ve landed in Bangkok. It’s hot, I’m knackered, and I need a shower. Plan is a few days here, then Pete joins me before we head to Vietnam for six weeks, find an apartment, and crack on with life, food, and getting stuck into the next book.
