I’m so jealous of hunters right now because they got a combo that deals a ton of damage with the new Han Solo blaster. Uncivil Discourse is the first ever special ammo hand cannon. This is literally just a legendary version of Forerunner but it’s classified as a hand cannon which means it can benefit from lucky pants. Taking its DPS from 928 to 3000 which is really good but you see dear viewer, it gets much, much better but you need a very specific version of this weapon. First of all you’ll want precision instrument to further increase its damage as you fire, a battery with low heat generation so you can fire more shots before it overheats, and you’ll need the accelerated assault origin trait. Yours doesn’t have that? Well it turns out these heat weapons have secret special versions. If you get really lucky, these weapons can drop pre-masterworked and if they do, they will have an extra origin trait and it’s really good. This makes it so it generates less heat and deals more damage, allowing it to fire 17 shots before lucky pants goes away, making it deal WAY more damage. So now with this origin trait, the DPS goes all the way up to 3700. Now compare that to malfeasance which is the same rate of fire and it only deals about 1200. So this new hand cannon deals 3 times more than malfeasance. And keep in mind, I only got a tier 4 so the origin trait is not enhanced and I didn’t even get a damage perk so this damage could go way higher, especially if we throw in radiant, weapon surges, and tether for even more damage. This hand cannon is easily my favorite weapon from this season and I would marry it if I could.
