Alright I think a lot of people will go like: waIT MANU IS EDITING HETALIA?? TF HAPPENED? Actually a lot of stuff happened.
This little AMV was made for a very special person of mine who is fighting with a lot of struggles and a hard time in general for quite a while now and I sometimes feel really useless since I cant help you the way I want to. I cant hold you when you are crying or shaking, I cant smile at you while saying that everything is going to be alright, I cant take you anywhere to spend a fun day so you can forget your worries. I hate myself for being so limited, even in my written comfort. I feel like I absolutely fail at being a shoulder to hold on sometimes and all I want is to ensure your happiness and keep it safe like I promised to a while ago.
Okay but enough of my self-pity. I decided that if I cant be much comfort, I can at least try to give you some new happiness. I know how much you used to be happy whenever I made something for you and it overwhelmed me every single time so this is the least I could do for a lovely person like you. I know it may be a dark time for you but maybe you can feel at least a bit of that happienss that I used to give you that way? That is all I really need, believe me. I want to be happy with you again and share all of my happiness because I dont need it when you are feeling like that. I know I said it so many times already, but we can do this together! Weve been holding on for so long now and light is always ahead so please let me push you further for a bit longer. Please dont try to shut me out of your life and share your problems and doubts because even if I cant be the best support I will always listen to you and talking about your struggles can be helpful. I wont leave you alone with this, never and especially not now. I know you maybe cant believe me now but once we fought through this we will be able to look back at it together and be proud at how far weve come. Please give me a chance to express my endless gratefulness, love and worry for you in a way that you can believe me. And dont worry about bothering or stressing me anymore because I am willing to take all this and way more for you because you deserve it and you would do the same for me. It may not be easy but Im truly honest about all this and I would be an awful person if I thought any other way tbh.
Lets fight together, there is always a solution for everything even though it may not seem that way sometimes. I just had to get this all out once in a bundled way because I think about it every day and I just feel like Im not telling you often enough how much I really love you and need you. Then again you can never say such things enough. I love you, never forget this. ♥

I literally only found out about this anime yesterday and I watched all the aired episodes today in one go... We all know Im weak for sad magical girls and damn are they cute. And sad. But we been knew.
I didnt expect to edit anything (let alone a whole project) today but I immediately thought of this song while watching that episode and Shelter is just literally SUCH a masterpiece of a song that I had to do this. Its not great but itll do. I just wanted to make this happen, not necessarily make it good as well, that was a bit much to hope for. Sweet angel, I hope youll come back in the next episodes :))

OKAY BUT STORYTIME IN CASE ITS NOT OBVIOUS ENOUGH;;
Basically James died during one of their attempts to capture Pikachu. The first kiss of the prompt happened in James last waking moments during lost confessions before he took his last breath. As a result to the trauma of losing her best friend right in front of her eyes, Jessie starts having nightmares about his death and has problems with falling back into daily life. At some points she remembers their promise to meet in the afterlife that they gave each other in Sinnoh which gives her a bit of hope. Her nightmares turn into dreams where she is with James and Meowth again just like in old times. She starts escaping reality in her dreams but deep down she knows that she cant run away forever so she decides to move on to enjoy her life for James sake too and because she knows that is really what he would want for her.

Okay so do you see that black border I put in the second half of the part? Do you see it? Because you almost didnt because SV absolutely REFUSED to render it in the full thing for some reason?? I literally had to mask away the border in pan/crop because nothing else worked, not even the cookie cutter, what the actual fuck sv;;
Aaaaanyways on to more fun topics: I made my first liveaction edit? And the first raw edit of this challenge? Much wow! And I actually dont hate it? Like I even almost liked it before SV got so frustrating with it... Honestly raw isnt really my strength, but somehow liveaction scenes just flow so much more smoothly? Or maybe that was just all those fighting scenes, idk man.
But hell yes I was able to edit Loki? Confirmed genderfluid child? Like man I never even expected I would DO liveaction, but maybe I can sneak some edits in because I honestly enjoyed it so much? And Loki deserves all the love and so do all the Marvel characters actually and aohdkosgko this is a small step for humanity, but a big step for me because holy shit this is so fun.
I tried to colour the scenes in the pride flag colours, but except for the pink at the beginning you cant really see it? Gdi.
