I’m afraid to admit that after a year living in this apartment, my entryway still looked like I just moved in.
I put a bench and Command hooks here intending for them to be temporary, but they stayed way longer than I wanted.
So this is episode 1 of Making Rental Home. It’s a series where I do the small actions to start making my apartment my own.
So for this first episode, I wanted to address the shoes on the floor. I got an inexpensive shoe cabinet from IKEA.
It’s not perfect, or by any means aesthetic, but it will function how I need it, and that’s what matters the most right now.
