After finding out Ikea sells a weaving loom in their toy section, I knew I needed to put it to the test. The IKEA Lustigt loom comes at a much more affordable price than looms you may find on Amazon, so it makes it a great choice for beginners.

I will walk you through unboxing and how to assemble the loom, string the warp, and three basic weaving techniques: plain weave, soumak weave and pile weave. I'll weave with regular yarn, chunky yarn and wool roving. Finally, I give a review of how I think this IKEA product works.
