Howdy folks,
It's nearly October - 'tis the season for all things scary, and in that spirit I'm announcing my project for October/Halloween: 'FACE YOUR FEARS!'
Throughout the month I'll be tackling some of the many books I have on my wish list that I've been putting off reading because, quite frankly, I'm a bit scared or daunted to get into.
The books I've picked make me nervous for different reasons: it could be that they might be too scary for me, or that they have content or themes that are extremely difficult to read about, or just that I'm scared that I won't understand them and might feel stupid if I don't! They're not all horror - there's some literary fiction and non-fiction in here too.
But it's time to FACE MY FEARS and read some of these stories, and see how I get on with them.
Whilst this is a personal project, I'm also opening it up to anyone else who might have a book or books that they're scared or daunted by, and would love for you to join me in facing your fears too! It doesn't have to be a horror book, it can be anything at all! Drop me a comment down below if you're interested in jumping on board!
