January is a month of easing into the sci-fi before hitting some of the heftier stuff in the coming months, so today I'll be sharing my thoughts on some more YA science-fiction, this time from A Connors - THE GIRL WHO BROKE THE SEA.

This is a great science fiction thriller set in the deep ocean, filled with intrigue, suspense and some thrilling action, with a good dose of humour mixed in. It's a story of finding your place in the world, dealing with emotions and learning to communicate.
