Losing a pet is a kind of grief that is hard to explain unless you’ve lived it.
After 14 years, I had to say goodbye to my Maltese dog, Cookie — a companion who walked with me through chronic illness, isolation, and some of the darkest seasons of my life.
In this video, I open up honestly about grief, love, and faith — and how God meets us even when we feel completely devastated.
The Bible calls Him the Father of mercies and the God of all comfort (2 Corinthians 1:3).
Sometimes faith isn’t pretending we’re okay. Sometimes faith is simply coming before God and saying, “Lord, I’m hurting.”
If you have ever lost a pet, lost someone you love, or are walking through grief right now — you are not alone.
God sees you. God cares. And He walks with us, one step at a time.
