We’re kicking off a new series spotlighting the artists who started their journeys with DCTV Youth Media and where their creativity has taken them.
First up: Robert Gonzalez. A true multidimensional artist, Robert began his path in our Summer Media Intensive program, where he first stepped behind the camera and into storytelling.
Since graduating in 2006, Robert hasn’t just built a dynamic, cross-disciplinary artistic career. He’s also poured back into the community, returning as a Youth Media instructor in 2018. His work across mediums reflects the foundation, experimentation, and storytelling spirit that define DCTV.
In this new series, Into Focus: Alumni Stories, we'll continue highlighting the voices, paths, and impact of our alumni.
